There is no question that illegal immigration is a serious problem in North Carolina. We simply cannot afford to have undocumented workers in our state who receive government benefits and don't pay taxes. It is time that we take steps to solve this issue in a responsible manner.
Solutions:
Take a proactive approach to enforcing our laws.
Implement the 287(g) program.
Do not allow benefits such as in-state tuition or driver's licenses for illegal immigrants.
Pass a resolution asking the federal government to effective secure our borders.
